Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. Who we are
VORQS ("VORQS", "we", "us") offers integrated fit-out and contracting services and operates the website vorqs.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the website, why, and what rights you have. You can reach us at [email protected]; for privacy and data requests write to [email protected].
2. Legal framework
We handle personal data in line with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations, and with other applicable Egyptian law.
3. What we collect
- Contact form: your name, company (optional), email address, phone number (optional), the subject and your message.
- Request a Quote form: the same details, plus the service type, project location, approximate area, target start date and estimated budget (if you provide them) and your project brief.
- Emails you send us: the content of your message and your email address, when you write to [email protected] or one of our department addresses.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device information, the pages requested and the time of the request. These appear in our security and server logs and in the logs of our network provider, and are used to deliver and protect the website.
- Cookies: two essential cookies, described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking technologies on this website, we do not take online payments, and we do not ask you for national ID numbers, bank or card details through the website.
4. Why we use your data
- to answer your enquiry and to prepare and follow up a quotation or proposal you asked for;
- to enter into and perform a contract with you or the company you represent;
- to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website, and to prevent abuse and spam;
- to comply with legal obligations.
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and submitting a form, and, where applicable, on steps taken at your request before a contract, on legal obligations and on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see section 8).
5. Who receives your data
Your data is handled by authorised VORQS staff. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:
- Cloudflare – network, security and content delivery for vorqs.com, which means your requests pass through its network;
- Microsoft 365 (provided through GoDaddy) – our business email;
- Google Fonts – the website's text fonts are loaded by your browser directly from Google, so Google receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data to authorities where the law requires it.
6. Transfers outside Egypt
Some of the providers above operate globally, so data may be processed outside Egypt. We use them only to the extent necessary and handle such transfers as required by applicable law.
7. How long we keep data
We keep enquiry and quotation data for as long as it is needed to answer you, to carry out any resulting work and to meet legal and accounting requirements, and technical logs for the shortest period needed to run and protect the website. We then delete or anonymise the data.
8. Your rights and how to use them
Under Law No. 151 of 2020 you have rights over your personal data, including the right to know what we hold, to access it, to correct or update it, to restrict or object to its processing, to erase it where the law allows, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise a right, email [email protected] from the address you used with us and tell us what you need. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Centre in Egypt.
9. Security
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and regular backups. If a data breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify the competent authority and the people affected as the law requires.
10. Children
The website is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will publish the current version on this page with its date.
